COLLISSION MANAGEMENT All major supplier MSOs remain open*. We are aware that a very limited number of collision and repair shops have temporarily closed across the US and Canada but where there are reports of these temporary closures, we understand there are alternate shops in those markets. Please call ahead to make sure shops are open before you arrive for service. We have received confirmation that repair shops are being considered essential and can remain open. As the situation evolves, it may not be feasible to update specific supplier names SAFETY FMCSA has granted, until June 30, 2020, a waiver from certain regulations applicable to interstate and intrastate commercial driver’s license (CDL) and commercial learner’s permit (CLP) holders and to other interstate drivers operating commercial motor vehicles (CMVs). Below updates from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s (PA) Department of Transportation: Per the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s communication today, their employees will be immediately asked to work from home until March 31st, 2020 in an effort to minimize the spread of Covid-19 at PennDOT offices. Consequently, the agency has informed us that all Motor Vehicle Reports (MVRs) for the remainder of March 2020 will be on hold and they will resume processing on March 31st. Our providers are working with the state to understand if there is another process that could be put into place to minimize the delays. We will communicate with our clients as soon as we receive guidance from the state. Pennsylvania is no longer accepting electronic signatures for MVR authorizations. Going forward, the DriverCare application will prompt Pennsylvania drivers to print and fax a physically signed copy of their authorization form to DriverCare. The instructions are clear and provided in a stepby step. DriverCare will contact any drivers that need to re-authorize.
